NCS Exterior 84

NCS Exterior 84 provides 84 handpicked NCS colours inspired by Scandinavian design and selected with European colour preferences in mind.

Choosing colours for an exterior environment can be difficult as colour samples chosen in store or in an office often appear to be lighter and more chromatic (brighter) when outside. Other factors, including the surrounding coloured materials, can also make the colours appear ‘colder’ or ‘warmer’. Extensive field studies and research determined the colours to include in this collection, all which do not show an unwanted colour change in hue outside in the exterior environment.

84 colours are divided into seven colour chapters for ease of navigation; covering a full spectrum of hues, all samples are labelled with NCS Standard notation for communicating the colour to suppliers and clients.
