RAL Plastics are a valuable and practical resource for colour selection decisions on plastics and other materials. They are the perfect accompaniment to RAL's paint-based paper colour fan decks. Architects, interior designers, industrial designers and product designers use RAL Plastics to specify and match the colour of any hard goods. Consequently coordinating colour schemes or product ranges is possible. These A6 sized polypropylene plates provide different surface textures, thicknesses and opacities and are made to a tight colour tolerance to the Master Colour data. Plastic chips are durable, waterproof and wipe clean. Use as a binding colour standard for product specification and quality control.

RAL Plastics offer flexibility in many manufacturing processes as well as compatibility with a broad range of colour pigments. Thus colour matching of plastic Masterbatch is much easier to Plastic than to the RAL paper books. Useful for food applications, product packaging, toys, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products.

The RAL P2 set contains 160 opaque colours from the RAL DESIGN system plus, separated into 39 colour groupings plus a greyscale. Forty coordinating transparent shades are also included. The RAL P1 set contains the 100 most important and frequently requested colours from the RAL CLASSIC range. All RAL Plastics are supplied in a protective envelope with colour data.
