Consequently, the Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report reveals this season’s essential colour narrative for New York and London, featuring a selection of key themes. These themes strongly support dependable and vibrant core shades while introducing lively and dynamic accents that add a touch of enchantment.

About the Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report:

Pantone is recognized worldwide as the leading authority on colour and a key provider of professional colour standards for the design sectors. They unveiled the Pantone® Fashion Color Trend Reports for Spring/Summer 2025, coinciding with New York Fashion Week (NYFW). Crafted by the Pantone Color Institute—renowned for its trend forecasting and colour consultancy, it highlights the ten most prominent colours of the season, along with five fresh, seasonless shades.

Pantone Fashion Trend Reports communicate colours seen on the catwalks, using TCX Cotton colours from the Pantone Fashion, Home + Interior range. Providing designers with inspiration to inform future collections, as top fashion designers roll out their new collections for Spring/Summer 2025.

Cotton Swatch Cards are available for all colours listed in the Pantone Fashion Week Reports.

New York Fashion Week Spring/ Summer 2025

A diverse array of colours creates an abundant foundation for redefining personal style and expressing individuality.

Experts from the Pantone Color Institute suggest that the colours showcased for NYFW Spring/Summer 2025 reflect our intention to connect with the invaluable natural world. This vibrant palette features a captivating mix of exotic bright hues, earthy mid-tones, timeless neutrals, and a variety of eco-inspired greens and expansive blues. These colours are both grounded and dynamic, embodying our quest for authenticity while celebrating joyful individualism and optimism. Blending these elements, the Spring/Summer 2025 colour palette transforms the familiar into a strikingly original design statement paving the way for the future.

The Pantone trend colours used in New York  were described as “A harmonious grouping of color inspired by the precious natural world”. The blue and green colour references are Lime Cream 12-0312, Limpet Shell 13-4810, White Grape 14-0442, Déjà vu Blue 19-4041 and Kashmir 17-6319. Contrasting colours are Bran 17-1336, Crocus 16-3115, Misted Marigold 14-0757, Orangeade 17-1461 and Cocoon 14-1025.

“Combining comfort and glam, colors for NYFW Spring / Summer 2025 blend wearability with desirability,” said Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. “Imbued with appealing deliciousness, they are practical and pragmatic, displaying character and depth but with a fashionable twist that elevates them from the traditional into something much more current and stimulating. ”

The Seasonless Shades are classic and luxurious neutrals that bring comfort and ease. Furthermore, Eclipse 19-3810, Antique White 11-0105, Rum Raisin 19-1321, Moonbeam 13-0000 and Blue Granite 18-3933 are more subtle than stark black and white.

This vibrant palette, brimming with playful elements and nostalgic touches, features energy-rich brights, eco-friendly hues, timeless country shades, and sleek monochromes. It encourages a sense of liberation through its bold contrasts and unconventional approach. With a confident and robust presence, these colours push the boundaries of the familiar, inspiring a spirit of fearless self-expression that looks ahead to the future.

What are the colours?

London trend colours included less blues and green with Airy Blue 14-4122, White Grape 14-0442, Pear Sorbet 11-0615 and Viridian Green 17-5126. However, Yellow Jasper 12-0719, Camellia 16-1541, Hibiscus 18-1762 and Passion Flower 18-3737 provide brighter contrasts. Complemented by Windsor Wine 19-1528 and Sudan Brown 18-1160.

Seasonless Shades include Secret Spaces 14-4309 from the new 175 dualities palette. Combined with Thunderstorm 18-5206, Curds & Whey 16-0920, Cocoa 19-1119 and Garden Green 19-0230.
